REGISTRATION FEES AND INFO

To participate in the EDEG 2025 meeting, you must please fill out the registration form. You will receive a confirmation e-mail, if not please contact erik@nordiccongress.se.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

REGISTRATION FEE IS INCLUSIVE OF:

• Admission to the EDEG 2025 conference premises, conference hall and breakout sessions (~3 days)
• Conference material & Certificate of Attendance
• Attendance at the organized Coffee breaks during the Scientific Program
• Welcome Reception/Dinner on Saturday the 17th May 2025
• All meals are covered (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and all dinners) throughout the EDEG 2025 conference
• 3 nights stay in a Single Room accommodation on 17th, 18th, 19th of May
• Social events

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

WORKSHOP - SURVIVAL, MORTALITY, EXPECTED LIFE TIME AND COMPETING RISK

Preliminary Program

Come join us and learn from one of the best biostatisticians in the world. Bendix Carstensen is a leading diabetes biostatistician from Steno Diabetes centre, Denmark. He has a wealth of experience teaching demography in relation to cancer and diabetes. Bendix has written several textbooks, taught many short courses all over the world and is an expert in R.

The workshop is intended for young statisticians, epidemiologists and the like.
It will provide an overview of the concepts with a special view to generating results (numbers and graphs) in R.
By the very title of the workshop it will be relevant for persons that are working with follow-up data over time, be that clinical trials, cohort studies or register-based studies.

Since the workshop takes place on Saturday morning participants will get the choice to add accommodation for the 16th of May at the conference hotel Clarion Hotel Umeå.

A dinner will be arranged on Friday 16 May to welcome the participants of the workshop.  

You register for the workshop at the same time that you register for the conference, under step two of the registration form (Registration & Accomodation Fee) you will be presented with the choice of attending the workshop. If you already have registered for the conference but forgot to add the workshop in your registration, please contact erik@nordiccongress.se.

EXTRA ACCOMODATION

If you are interested in booking extra accomodation outside of the accomodation that is included in the conference fee (17th - 20th May) or if you are attending the Workshop with Bendix, you can book extra accomodation though the link below. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration and hotel fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to a colleague if you are unable to attend. 

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information during the registration process. If an invoice needs to be changed after the initial invoice has been sent, an administrative fee of 240 SEK plus VAT will apply.

NAME CHANGES OF REGISTRATION

Should any participant be unable to attend, the Registration may be transferred to another colleague without any additional charge.
